The Aett and Its Successor Chapters – A Bond of Blood and Brotherhood
The Aett stands not just as the heart of the Space Wolves, but as a sanctuary and gathering hall for all who carry the blood of Russ — whether born upon Fenris or forged anew as one of the successor chapters. The relationship between The Aett and its successors is one of fierce loyalty, mutual respect, and shared legacy. Though each successor chapter walks its own path, shaped by unique traditions, battle doctrines, and sacred rites, they all remain bound by the ancient oaths sworn to the Allfather and the Wolf King.
Within The Aett, the successor chapters find more than allies — they find kin. The halls echo with the tales of the Fangs of Fenris, the stealthy Shadowfangs, the savage Hellfangs, and many more, each adding their saga to the long saga of the Rout. Wisdom is shared, victories are celebrated, and the burdens of war are borne together.
In the eyes of The Aett, there is no distinction between the sons of Russ. Whether clad in grey, ice, ash, or shadow, all are Wolves. All are brothers. And when the warhorns sound, they answer the call as one pack.
The Fangs of Fenris
Fangs of Fenris is a Space Wolf successor chapter, founded during the Ultima Founding some time after the fall of Cadia. Their home, a fortress-monastery named The Wolfspire, orbits their recruitment world of Svartheim near the Eye of Terror. From there, they patrol the nearby sub-sectors of the void, always on the prowl, always hunting enemies of the Imperium.

The Mossfangs
A Homebrew Ultima Founding Space Wolves successor founded in 001.M42. The chapter has some Irish, Gaelic, and tribal inspiration. Focused on guerilla warfare and stealth. Already has numerous handmade stories to read. They dawn green and brown armour like their forest homeworld of Sequoia.
We’re big on writing especially so if you want to help expand our lore or have any questions feel free to join and ask! The main goal of the Mossfangs is to make it feel authentic to 40k.
